Oliver Rowland made history on Sunday by clinching his first-ever Formula E title, becoming the 10th different champion in just 11 seasons. The Nissan driver wrapped up the championship with two races still to go, thanks to a solid fourth-place finish in Berlin's second race. It was a crucial result, especially as his title rival Pascal Wehrlein, who had started from pole, could only finish 16th.

On the other hand, Edoardo Mortara gave Mahindra Racing another moment to celebrate. The Swiss-Italian secured third place in the first race of the Berlin double-header, making it two podiums in a row.
Oliver Rowland's fourth-place finish was enough to clinch his maiden Formula E title in Berlin, with Pascal Wehrlein finishing 16th after self-sabotaging through energy depletion. Rowland's result not only secured the championship prematurely but also granted Nissan their first-ever Formula E title, and in so doing, made him the 10th different champion to grace the championship in 11 seasons.

Nick Cassidy of Jaguar produced a magnificent drive from the back of the grid to win the Berlin race. He preserved energy well and executed flawlessly at the right time. Dennis and Vergne joined him on the podium, while Evans came fifth.
Oliver Rowland said: 'I'm very proud to win the Drivers' World Championship with Nissan Formula E Team - it's going to take a while for it to sink in! After a tough day yesterday, I approached the race thinking about limiting the potential damage to my lead, but that strategy almost never works in Formula E, especially in this kind of race. So in the end I trusted myself and focused on delivering the best possible performance, and it paid off. Since I came back, Nissan created an environment which I can thrive in, and this is the perfect fairytale.'

'The whole team has worked tirelessly and delivered to the highest standard, and I would like to thank each and every one of them for their amazing effort throughout this campaign. And I am also very grateful to Tommaso and Dorian, for always believing in me and giving me everything I needed in order to be World Champion today. The season isn't over yet though – we still have two championships to fight for and our focus is fully on these now for the season finale in London,' he added.
Edoardo Mortara continued his podium finish for Mahindra Racing in Berlin. Starting 12th on the grid, he charged aggressively through the pack after a couple of slick manoeuvres and settled into a steady rhythm. It was his 15th career podium in Formula E and a massive boost for both him and his team as they approach the end of the season.

This result also gave Mahindra something to celebrate in the Teams’ Championship. With Mortara’s podium, they moved ahead of McLaren and into fourth place overall. It was their third podium of the season and their 27th in Formula E history. The team’s recent performances show they’re finding their rhythm again and closing the gap to the front.

It was a tougher day on the other side of the garage. During his Formula E debut, Felipe Drugovich had to start at the back of the grid because of a penalty. Despite the situation, the Brazilian rookie remained calm and kept pushing, gaining quite a few positions to finish 17th, a decent result in tricky conditions.
