It’s been close to a decade and a half full of super-limited editions and one-offs for Pagani and now the Italian supercar manufacturer has released its final Zonda or so it seems. Named the Zonda Revolucion, Pagani Automobili says that the “car is designed to amaze both on the track and in a car collection"

It was Horatio Pagani who introduced the world to Zonda in 1999. Let us remind you, that it was the Zonda C12 that laid the foundation for all the other supercars to follow. Then we saw the Huayra about two years ago and now the Zonda Revolucion appears to be the very last of those special editions and, by that we mean, the very last Zonda.

Zonda has been around for 14 years now and what better way to celebrate the last Pagani Zonda, than bring out the big guns and give it your best shot.

Let’s begin with the engine then. Pagani builds upon the track aggression and potency of the Zonda R by tuning the same 6.0-liter Mercedes AMG V12 engine to produce 800 bhp and 729 Nm  torques.

You might think that an engine with that kind of output, will make any car faster. Well, Pagani uses such advanced elements as a carbon-titanium monocoque and carbon fibre body and keeps the weight down to 1070 kgs.

Zonda has mated the engine with a 6-speed sequential gearbox with fast 20-millisecond shifts. This helps to transfer and distribute all that 800bhp and 729 Nm torque as effectively as possible.

Inside, you’ll find a 12-mode Bosch traction control system, Brembo braking system with lightweight CCMR discs, ABS, and a two-mode downforce reduction system (DRS) that adjusts the rear wing at the touch of a button mounted on the steering wheel. Other aerodynamic features include deflectors on the hood and a vertical stabilizer bar below the rear wing.

Unfortunately Pagani hasn't released any other details and hence performance figures elude us. Pagani will build just five Zonda Revolucions and each will cost 2.2 million Euros.
