Ricky Donison has swept the inaugural weekend of the the JK Tyre MMS Rotax Kart Open Cup clean, at MECO Kartopia in Bengaluru.

Two rounds consisting of the four races each were held during the weekend, Donision won all eight races in the Senior Max category.

In the Junior Max category, Donison’s BPC Racing team-mate, Chirag Ghorpade won five of the eight races held during the weekend. Ghorpade faced major challenges from Manav Sharma, Yash Aradhya and Nirmal Umashankar. Sharma, Aradhya and Umashankar, each won a race, in addition to Ghorpade taking five wins for himself.

Shahan Ali Mohsin, from Agra, dominated the Micro Max category by taking six wins during the weekend. The Micro Max category saw Ruhan Alva and Akshay Bohra share the podium with Shahan in all races but one where Arjun R came third. Bohra won race 4 of round 1 and race 3 of round 2.
