About Avanturaa Choppers Bikes

Avanturaa Choppers is one of the newest companies to enter this niche segment in the last 33 years officially. It plans to bet big by introducing the first brand of street-legal, world-class choppers to the country.

Originating in the USA in the 1950s, chopper motorcycles rapidly became a sensation among enthusiasts globally. However, the Indian motorhead was yet to enjoy the authentic chopper experience despite the rapidly evolving riding culture. So, to offer the Indian riding aficionado the ultimate chopper experience, the Avanturaa Choppers bike came into existence.

The motorcycles are built using high-spec components sourced from overseas brands. Powering the bikes are 2,000cc V-twin engines, the largest ever from an Indian company. The motors are sourced from S&S, including full engines for V-twin cruisers and custom bikes. S&S is an American brand with over 50 years of experience in building multiple high-performance solutions. The transmission is a Rivera six-speed unit while the suspension is sourced from Progressive. Lastly, the mammoth tyres are from Avon and the brake calipers are procured from the French manufacturer, Beringer.

These choppers were first shown to the public at the 2017 India Bike Week and deliveries commenced in December 2017. Avanturaa Choppers had then set a target of selling about 200 bikes by the end of 2019. It aimed at a 7-8 percent market share by 2022. We may witness the relaunch of these motorbikes again in the future.
