<p><b>The best-selling 150cc commuter in the country, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 finally gets the BS-VI update and it has been priced at Rs 94,956 for the front disc variant and Rs 98,835 for the twin disc option. </b></p>

<p>Even after all these years, the Pulsar 150 continues to be one of the best-selling products from Bajaj’s product portfolio. Keeping that in mind, there was never a doubt that the motorcycle will make it to the other side of 31<sup>st</sup> March as a BS-VI compliant offering. Well, the Pulsar 150 has finally made the shift and it is priced starting Rs 94,956 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the front disc variant. The dual disc brake variant carries a sticker price of Rs 98,835 (ex-showroom Delhi). Both prices are nearly Rs 9,000 over the outgoing BS-IV models.</p>

<p>As far as engine specs go, there isn’t a significant change in the power and torque figures. The 149.5cc single-cylinder fuel injected motor now 13.8bhp and 13.25Nm. The power output is the same as before, but there has been a marginal dip in the max torque. The peak power and torque now also come 500rpm higher than before. The engine continues to be mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Pulsar 150 with the twin discs now tips the scale at 148kg – 4kg more than before. The Pulsar 150 comes with a single-channel ABS in both its variants.</p>

<p>Everything else about the Pulsar 150 remains unchanged. Bajaj clearly seems to be sticking strong to the if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it philosophy. The large headlamp unit, the curvy fuel tank, split seats, dual-tone exhaust as well as the sharp tail section, all continue to be the same. In fact, this time around, Bajaj hasn’t even changed the graphics of the BS-VI Pulsar 150.</p>
