The Ultimate Edition is offered in a Triple Black paint job and houses new&nbsp;features &amp;&nbsp;equipment. The production of the Ultimate Edition of the company's&nbsp;flagship adventure motorcycle will be limited to 2,100 units worldwide. A keyless ride system is a striking feature of this edition, which is a replacement for&nbsp;the traditional ignition lock system. The adventure bike&nbsp;sports a special 'Ultimate Edition' badging and features anodised aluminium trims on the handlebar, which comes as a&nbsp;part of an accessory package. In addition, the company is also providing different&nbsp;accessory packs for the Ultimate Edition, thereby enhancing&nbsp;the bike's visual appearance and&nbsp;offering some functional features.&nbsp;As per some industry reports, the motorcycle will be available in select European markets. <p>BMW Motorrad has announced one of its biggest recalls affecting nearly 4.4 lakh units of its flagship models R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS. The recall affects units that were manufactured between 2013 and 2021 due to drive-related issues.&nbsp;</p>

<p>BMW says that the damage could be caused to the Cardan shaft over a period of time which would subsequently lead to a loss in power. The company will fix this issue by drilling a small hole at the rear, near the cross joint. Post this, a valve will be inserted into the same hole that will push the air and moisture out of the cardan tunnel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Customers can get the fixtures done for free at their nearest service centres. However, the brand has also said that there was no urgency to it and regularly scheduled service appointments should fix the issue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The R 1200 GS and the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bmw/r-1250-gs/">R 1250 GS</a> have been dominating the adventure motorcycle segment for as long as we can remember. To name a few aspects that made it so popular, standard features on the motorcycle include full-LED lighting, an adaptive headlight, keyless ride, heated grips, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour display, and a 12-volt socket, and a USB charging interface.&nbsp;</p>

The R 1250 GS comes with a 20-litre fuel tank and it tips the weighing scales at 249kg.
