The kerb weight of the scooter is 112kg and the ground clearance is a decent 155mm. The fuel tank has a capacity of 5.5-litres.

Engine & Transmission

The Hero Destini 125 comes powered by a 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor, which makes 9.3bhp of power and 9Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. Moreover, the said engine is also quite a judicious sipper, as the Hero Destini 125 mileage is claimed to be 51km/l.

Handling

The Destini 125 is based on a high rigidity underbone chassis and the suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic shock absorber at the front and a single-coil spring hydraulic at the rear. It gets 90/100-10 section tyres on both ends. The braking power is courtesy of a 130mm drum at the front as well as the rear.

The Hero Destini 125 new model, as said above, misses out on modern-day electricals and features. The headlamp and the tail lamp are powered by conventional bulbs rather than LEDs.
