The Glamour i3s is certainly a more stylish and powerful motorcycle, as opposed to the standard Glamour. The Glamour i3s, however, packs the same engine and the same riding propositions as the standard bike. The new Glamour also lacks some features as per the segment standpoint, but what compensates here is the inclusion of the i3s start/stop technology, which helps in reducing fuel consumption.

Exterior Details

The Hero Glamour i3s is a more intuitive Glamour, and with more power & style, the new Glamour is easily of the best 125cc offerings by Hero. Coming to the exterior dimensions, the motorcycle is 2,023mm long, 766mm wide, and 1,091mm in overall height. The kerb weight of the bike is 126kg, and the ground clearance is 159mm. The fuel tank can hold up to 11-litres of petrol.

Engine & Transmission

The Hero Glamour i3s gets a 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and churns out 11.4bhp and 11Nm of torque. The Hero Glamour i3s mileage, on the other hand, is rated at 60km/l.

Handling

The Glamour i3s rides on telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers suspension at the front and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the back. The bike is based on a semi-double-cradle chassis, and its stopping power is the responsibility of 130mm drums on either end. The front section gets an 80/100-18 47P section tyre and the rear section gets a 90/90-18 51P section tyre.

Features

The Hero Glamour i3s new model comes with i3s start-stop technology, which, of course, is an addition over the standard Glamour. In the electricals department, the front section gets a halogen headlamp while the rear gets an LED taillamp. The instrument cluster is a part digital unit, which is divided into an analogue speedometer and a digital display, which shows the fuel consumption, fuel levels, and a wealth of useful information.
