<p><strong>The Hero Glamour is a commuter motorcycle for the masses, but the Glamour Xtec aims to carve its own niche within the segment. It offers a few first-in-segment features at a competitive price.</strong></p>

<p>Hero Motocorp has launched the upgraded&nbsp;version of the Glamour – the Glamour Xtec, which has debuted in two variants: a drum brake and a disc brake variant. The former is priced at Rs 78,900, while the latter demands Rs 83,500. For reference, the standard variant of the Hero Glamour starts at Rs 74,900. All prices are ex-showroom.</p>

<p>The higher price tag of the Glamour Xtech gives you Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a gear-position indicator, an integrated USB charger, side-stand engine cut off, a bank angle sensor, and an all-LED headlamp. This makes the Glamour Xtec the most affordable motorcycle to be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation; also, these features are segment-first in India.</p>

<p>Apart from the changes to the headlamp and tail lamp, the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/hero/glamour-xtec/">Glamour Xtec</a> carries similar styling as the standard motorcycle. To integrate the new features, Hero has replaced the old instrument cluster with a new all-digital one.</p>

<p>The engine is the same 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor as the standard motorcycle. The power figures are identical as well&nbsp;–10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine features Hero’s i3S start-stop, along with Auto-Sail technology. The gearbox here is&nbsp;a five-speed unit. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 180mm and a fuel tank that holds 10 litres of petrol.</p>

<p>The Glamour Xtec is a feature-loaded offering from Hero Motocorp and aims to carve a niche of its own. The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/hero/glamour/">Hero Glamour</a> essentially rivals the&nbsp; Honda SP 125 and the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bajaj/pulsar-125/">Bajaj Pulsar 125</a>, which start at Rs 78,381 and Rs 77,843 (ex-showroom) respectively.</p>
