The HF Deluxe i3s, for when it arrived in the Indian market, was the third product in the HF Deluxe range from Hero MotoCorp. The HF Deluxe i3s brings the i3s start-stop technology to the affordable Hero range, which helps in conserving the fuel economy of the motorcycle. The HF Deluxe i3s uses the same engine as the other HF Deluxe bikes and also packs an electric start and alloy wheels as an option, despite that affordable price tag.

Exterior Details

The Hero HF Deluxe i3s is dimensionally the same as other HF Deluxe motorcycles. Still, to give you a brief, the i3s version of the HF Deluxe is 1,965mm long, 720mm wide, and 1,045mm in height. The ground clearance is a decent 165mm, and the kerb weight is 112kg. The fuel tank can hold up to 9.6-litres of petrol.

Engine & Transmission

The Hero HF Deluxe i3s, as hinted above, gets a 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which churns out 7.8bhp of power and 8.05Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a four-speed manual gearbox. Since it comes with Hero’s i3s technology, the Hero HF Deluxe i3s mileage is a good 82.9km/l.

Handling

The HF Deluxe i3s is built around a tubular double cradle frame, and it rides on telescopic hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the front and a hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the rear. The stopping power comes from a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm drum at the back. The front and the rear gets 2.75x18 section tyres coupled with alloy wheels.

The Hero HF Deluxe i3s new model packs i3s start-stop technology, which helps in aiding its fuel economy. The instrument cluster, moreover, is divided into an analogue tachometer, speedometer, odometer, and a fuel gauge. The headlamp and taillamp are both powered by conventional halogen bulbs.
