The Passion XPro is an upgraded version of the Passion Pro 110, which now comes powered by a first in-house developed engine, leaving Hero’s old partner Honda out of the picture. The XPro develops 12 per cent more power and torque than the previous model and houses the same engine as the Splendor 110. The XPro gets more features in comparison to the Standard Passion like a part digital instrument cluster and disc brakes.

Exterior Details

The Hero Passion XPro is an upgraded Passion with an in-house developed 110cc engine and a few extra features. Dimensionally, the bike is 1,966mm in overall length, 774mm in overall width, and 1,087mm in overall height. The ground clearance is a decent 165mm, and the kerb weight is 117kg. The fuel tank capacity of the XPro is 9.2-litres.

Engine & Transmission

The Hero Passion XPro features an in-house developed 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor, which makes 9.3bhp of power and 9Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The Hero Passion XPro mileage, on the other hand, is rated at 78km/l.

Handling

The Passion XPro is built around a tubular double cradle frame, and its suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic hydraulic shock absorber at the front and a swing arm with hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The stopping power comes from 130mm drums at both ends coupled with a 2.75x18 section tyre and a 3.00x18 section tyre at the front and the rear, respectively.

Features

The Hero Passion XPro new model comes with a part digital instrument cluster segregated into an analogue speedometer and a digital screen, which shows a wealth of rider-centric information. It comes with IBS as standard across the range, as part of the safety kit. Lastly, the headlamp is a halogen unit while the taillamp is an LED.

The Hero Passion XPro comes in two variants. The Hero Passion XPro price (as of mid-2020) is ₹58,200 for the Drum variant and ₹60,900 for the Disc variant.
