The Honda Dio series can now be had with a more powerful engine. It is powered by the same 125cc engine as the Honda Grazia. The Dio 125 uses a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol mill, which is tuned to churn out 8.14 bhp at 6000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. It can make the rear wheel spin via a continuously variable transmission (CVT) automatic gearbox. It is also equipped with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology.

This 125cc engine is also OBD2 compliant and boasts advancements, such as a Honda ACG starter, reduced friction, improved tumble flow, enhanced combustion, and solenoid valves.

For improved fuel efficiency, the Honda Dio 125 also incorporates an idle start/stop system.

As for the suspension setup of the Honda Dio 125, it stands on telescopic forks at the front and a three-step preload adjustable single spring suspension at the rear. This locally-produced 125cc scooter has such a suspension setup that it makes it suitable for Indian roads.
