The core moto-scooter design of the Dio, which has been its highlight among young riders, remains unchanged. However, the updated scooter has added features and new paint schemes for a fresh look. <h2>2025 Honda Dio 110: Engine, Features, and More</h2>

<p>For 2025, the Honda Dio continues to use its 109.51cc single-cylinder engine, now upgraded to comply with OBD-2B standards. The engine’s performance figures remain unchanged, producing 7.84bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 9.03Nm of peak torque, and it is mated to a CVT gearbox. Additionally, the idling stop-start feature has been included to improve fuel efficiency.</p>

<p>Features-wise, the revamped Dio boasts&nbsp;a new&nbsp;4.2-inch TFT display that provides key ride details, including range, trip data, and eco indicators. It also comes standard with a Type-C charging port for enhanced functionality.</p>

<p>Visually, the Dio remains the same, as Honda has opted to retain the existing body design and graphics without introducing any updates. <p>The 2023 Honda Dio&nbsp;has been leaked online ahead of its upcoming launch in the Indian market. It is the updated version of the existing Honda Dio, which comes powered by a 109.5cc single-cylinder engine. And all this while, we were believing&nbsp;it to be either the 125cc version of the Dio or the&nbsp;brand-new two-wheeler, the details of which were revealed by the company via a teaser video. However, it turns out that the Japanese bikemaker has&nbsp;been teasing the 2023 iteration of the 110cc Dio on its social media platforms if we go&nbsp;by these recently leaked details. For those unaware, the Honda Dio was launched in 2002 and was designed for young customers in&nbsp;the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per&nbsp;the leaked images, the new&nbsp;Honda Dio 110 will get&nbsp;a few feature upgrades. The scooter will sport&nbsp;a pair of vertically-stacked digital displays: a basic LCD screen and an advanced blue backlit display,&nbsp;which will be available on the DLX and H-Smart variants.&nbsp;</p>

The 2023 model will be available in&nbsp;three variants - Standard, Deluxe, and H-Smart.&nbsp;</p>

Following the Activa 125 and the Grazia, this is the manufacturer's third 125cc scooter to go on sale in the country. <p>Bold design elements on the Dio 125 are among the stylistic characteristics that are identical to the 110cc Honda Dio. This includes a split-style pillion grabrail, a twin outlet exhaust with a heat shield, an apron-mounted headlamp, front turn indicators, and sharp body panels.&nbsp;The panels and components are unchanged. New, modern graphics and an appealing logo fit well with this style. Seven different options are available in the colour palette: Sports Red, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Deep Ground Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue Metallic, and Matte Deep Ground Grey Metallic.</p>

<h2>Honda Dio 125: Mechanical Details</h2>

<p>A 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, OBD2-compliant engine with eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) propells&nbsp;the new Honda Dio 125. A Honda ACG starter, increased tumble flow, reduced friction, and enhanced combustion, and solenoid valves are further advantages for this engine. Additionally, the producer has not yet disclosed the Dio 125's power and torque output numbers. For comparison, the current Honda Grazia 125's 125cc engine produces a maximum power output of 8.14bhp and a peak torque output of 10.4Nm.</p>

<h2>Honda Dio 125: Feature Set</h2>

<p>The Honda Dio 125 is equipped with H-Smart technology, which includes a smart key with four features: Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Safe, and Smart Start. According to what its names indicate, the smart key can assist you to locate your scooter in a parking lot, it can be locked and unlocked without using a key, and if it is within two metres of the scooter, the rider can start the scooter by simply turning the knob on the multi-function key system on the dash. Further features on the bike include a&nbsp;fresh, fully digital instrument console that displays speed, and real-time data for fuel economy and range, as well as the customary warning lights, trip meter, and clock, among the other highlights. The scooter also has an idle start-stop function and Honda's Combi-braking system (CBS).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Indian subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, has released a new teaser video of its upcoming two-wheeler on social media, hinting that its launch is around the corner. And it is widely believed that&nbsp;it&nbsp;could be a scooter, probably the 125cc version of the Honda Dio, although the video&nbsp;revealed a little about the upcoming two-wheeler, which includes the exhaust note and exhaust heat shield.</p>

<p>A couple of days ago, the first teaser video was doing the rounds on the internet, giving&nbsp;away&nbsp;the&nbsp;floorboard of the two-wheeler, along with its&nbsp;side panels. Other similar design elements included its striking sporty graphics to appeal to young customers, a headlamp, and front mudguards. Besides, the teaser said, 'level up your&nbsp;style quotient', which again supported&nbsp;the theory that the new two-wheeler could be the Honda Dio as the word 'style' has been associated with the Dio. For reference, the Activa 125 comes powered by a 123.97cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that has a maximum output of 8.18bhp at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.3Nm at 5,000rpm. The engine is coupled with a CVT transmission.</p>

<p>The new two-wheeler could get an engine auto start/stop functionality, an ACG silent starter system, Honda's new H-Smart system with a smart key, a side-stand cut-off, LED lighting, a pass switch, etc.</p>

This makes it the third scooter from Honda to feature a smart key, following the Activa and Activa 125.&nbsp;While the official website doesn't provide detailed information about the specific features of the new Dio H-Smart, it is expected to offer comparable technology to the Activa H-Smart.&nbsp;Alongside the introduction of the Dio H-Smart, Honda has also increased the prices of the current Dio models. <p>The automaker has not revealed&nbsp;any specifics regarding the Dio H-Smart;&nbsp;however, it is expected to possess the same features as the Activa. It will be equipped with a smart key system, which&nbsp;includes Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, and Smart Safe features.&nbsp;The addition of a smart key brings a number of cutting-edge functions. The Anti-theft system is one such feature, which engages the immobiliser when the smart key leaves the scooter's 2-metre range. The handle, fuel cap, and seat can all be unlocked when the key is nearby. The rider only needs to press and move the rotary knob while staying within the required range to start the scooter. Simply pushing the start/stop switch will start the engine.</p>

Drum brakes measuring 130mm will make up the braking system for&nbsp;both the front and the rear&nbsp;end.</p>

<p>Talking about the design, the Dio is equipped with a number of additional conveniences, such as an LED headlight and LED Daytime Running Lamp, a front pocket, under-seat storage, an external fuel filling cap, and a passing switch. The Activa's 109.51cc air-cooled engine, with fuel injection, will be used in the Dio H-Smart. The engine produces&nbsp;7.65bhp of maximum power and 9Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm and 4,750rpm, respectively.</p>
