<p>The new low-seat V variant of the KTM 250 Adventure bike has been launched in the Indian market. Interestingly, it is priced the same as the standard model, which is Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom). A similar treatment was meted out to the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle when the bike maker launched the low-seat V trim&nbsp;of the 390 Adventure almost&nbsp;a month ago at Rs 3.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Coming to the KTM 250 Adventure now, the most affordable bike in the company's Indian line-up comes with a seat height of 855mm. And now, its new V variant is available&nbsp;with a relatively lower seat height of 834mm, making it easier&nbsp;for short riders to manage. This means that the riding ergonomics of the 250 Adventure V&nbsp;is more relaxed and better than the standard version.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In addition, the&nbsp;KTM 250 Adventure V also receives an upgrade in the form of a revised suspension setup.&nbsp;Other than these changes, the&nbsp;KTM 250 Adventure V remains unaltered.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<h2>KTM 250 Adventure V Variant: Engine,&nbsp;Braking</h2>

<p>In terms of mechanicals, the 250 Adventure V continues to draw power from the same&nbsp;248.76cc&nbsp;single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that conforms to OBD2 standards. The engine churns out&nbsp;29.6bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. On offer is a 6-speed gearbox, for handling transmission duties.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In terms of braking, the V variant features&nbsp;a 320mm single disc with a radially-mounted calliper at the front and&nbsp;a 230mm single rotor with a floating calliper at the rear, accompanied by off-road ABS.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In terms of styling, the&nbsp;KTM 250 Adventure V sports a&nbsp;single-pod headlamp, LED daytime running lights, a short windscreen, a side-slung exhaust, a split-style seat (834mm in height), and an LED taillamp. Other notable features include a&nbsp;digital instrument cluster and alloy wheels.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the domestic market, the new KTM 250 Adventure V is priced at Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom), similar to that of the regular version. In terms of rivalry, the V variant takes on the likes of the&nbsp;Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 and the BMW G 310 GS (if&nbsp;we consider their&nbsp;mechanical specifications).&nbsp;</p>

<p>KTM has launched the updated 250 Adventure in India. The quarter-litre adventure motorcycle has been priced at Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the price of the predecessor model was the same which basically means that the current updates have come for no extra cost.</p>

<p>The KTM 250 Adventure still undercuts the price of the Benelli TRK 251 by a substantial margin. However, despite the recent price increase, the Royal Enfield Himalayan still manage to undercut both the aforementioned ADVs substantially.</p>

<p>Speaking of the 2022 250 Adventure, it does not sport any mechanical changes, in fact, the updates are only skin deep. The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure gets two new colour options. The new paint schemes are KTM Electronic Orange and &nbsp;KTM Factory Racing Blue.</p>

<p>Other than these two colour options, the motorcycle is the same as the pre-update model. The chassis components and other cycle parts are the same as before. The wheel sizes – 19-inch front and 17-inch rear – have been carried forward as it is.</p>

<p>The engine is the same 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit which churns out 29.6bhp and 24Nm, the same as before. The gearbox is the same six-speed unit as before.</p>

<p>KTM has not updated the 250 Adventure with an advanced electronic suit, especially, when we have seen more affordable motorcycles featuring a basic traction control system.</p>

<p>The next launch from KTM India is likely to be the new-gen RC390, or the brand could also introduce <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/2022-ktm-390-adventure-revealed-110400/">the updated 390 Adventure which is on sale overseas</a>.</p>
