<p>Oben Electric has launched the EZ electric motorcycle, the latest to the Rorr lineup in India. With prices starting at Rs 89,999 (introductory, ex-showroom), the new Oben Rore EZ (reads 'easy') blends 'effortless handling, striking aesthetics, and high-performance technology'. It comes in three battery variants&nbsp;– 2.6kWh, 3.4kWh and 4.4kWh. The battery is a 'high-performance' LFP&nbsp;(lithium iron phosphate) unit, known for&nbsp;its 50 per cent&nbsp;higher temperature resistance and&nbsp;2 times&nbsp;longer life.&nbsp;While all battery variants have a&nbsp;top speed of 95 km/h and&nbsp;0–40km/h timing of&nbsp;3.3 seconds (claimed), they differ in range.&nbsp;The base EZ 2.6kWh claims a range of 110km, while the&nbsp;3.4kWh and the 4.4kWh offer 140km and 175km, respectively. All are IDC figures. The 10bhp/52Nm electric motor and three&nbsp;drive modes (Eco, City, and Havoc) remain the same&nbsp;though.</p>

<h2>Oben Rorr EZ: Charging</h2>

<p>Two charging options are available&nbsp;– standard and fast. With a standard charger, the&nbsp;2.6kWh, 3.4kWh and 4.4kWh variants can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in&nbsp;4 hours, 5 hours and 7 hours, respectively. The fast charger takes&nbsp;45 minutes,&nbsp;1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours&nbsp;for the 2.6kWh, 3.4kWh and 4.4kWh variants, respectively, to go from 0 to 80 per cent.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Oben Rorr EZ: Seat Height, Weight</h2>

<p>All three versions offer&nbsp;the same seat height as the Rorr, 810mm. However, their weights vary&nbsp;–&nbsp;138kg, 143kg, and 148kg for the&nbsp;2.6kWh,&nbsp;3.4kWh&nbsp;and&nbsp;4.4kWh, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Oben Rorr EZ: Chassis, Features</h2>

<p>The Rorr EZ uses the company's ARX framework, ensuring 'enhanced&nbsp;stability and effortless manoeuvrability in traffic'. The suspension setup comprises a 37mm telescopic fork and a 7-step adjustable monoshock. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels.</p>

<p>Features-wise, the bike offers an LED display with smartphone connectivity,&nbsp;providing information such as ride details and battery status. Safety features include geo-fencing, unified brake assist, driver alert system, and battery theft protection. Five&nbsp;paint finishes are available&nbsp;– Flux Grey, Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White.&nbsp;</p>

For early buyers in the city, the e-bike is available for purchase at&nbsp;Rs 1.29 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), which is Rs 21,000 less than its standard price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the&nbsp;Rorr is the brand's only model currently on sale in the country. In addition to providing the&nbsp;customers with servicing and spare part assistance, the new Pune showroom doubles as an Oben Care service centre.&nbsp;</p>
