<p><em><strong>Featuring dynamic styling and top-shelf features, the Suzuki Avenis has arrived to take its 125cc rivals head-on.</strong></em></p>

<p>Suzuki has expanded its scooter line-up in India by launching the new Avenis. The 125cc scooter is priced at&nbsp;₹86,700 for all colour options, but those looking for a more visually appealing version&nbsp;can opt for the Avenis Race Edition, which is priced at&nbsp;₹87,000 (all price figures are ex-showroom, Delhi). The latter comes draped in Suzuki's signature Metallic Triton Blue and MotoGP-inspired race livery.</p>

<p>The third 125cc offering from <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/suzuki/">Suzuki</a> in India, the Avenis is essentially based on the same platform as the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/suzuki/access-125/">Access 125</a>. As a result, the former offers the same chassis and powertrain set up – it's powered by a single-cylinder SOHC air-cooled motor, which develops 8.6bhp and 10Nm of torque. These figures are the same as the Access. The CVT gearbox and the kick/electric starter system&nbsp;also remain unchanged. However, the Avenis is slightly longer and wider than its sibling and also offers a slightly larger fuel tank (5.2 litres).</p>

<p>On the visual front, the Avenis has been designed while keeping younger buyers in mind, and therefore it rivals the likes of the <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/bike-reviews/tvs-ntorq-vs-yamaha-ray-zr-125-comparison-108508/">TVS Ntorq and Yamaha Ray-ZR 125</a> – scooters with a very sporty design and attractive paint schemes. Speaking of colour options, the Avenis, apart from the Race Edition, is also available in&nbsp;Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey/Metallic Lush Green,&nbsp;Pearl Blaze Orange/Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Black/Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Mirage White/Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey colour options.</p>

<p>In terms of features, the Avenis offers pretty much the same kit as its sibling – alloy wheels, LED lighting, an external fuel filler cap, USB charging socket, a front disc brake, etc. Right now, Suzuki has launched the Avenis only in&nbsp;its Ride Connect variant (Standard Edition to arrive soon),&nbsp;so the scooter offers Suzuki's Ride Connect features as standard, which can be accessed via a Bluetooth-enabled digital console.</p>
