<p><em><strong>Suzuki has pulled the plug on the production of the Intruder 150 in India. The motorcycle was introduced in the Indian market back in 2017 to take on the segment-dominating Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise.</strong></em></p>

<p>Over four years after being introduced in India, Suzuki has pulled the plug on the Intruder 150 in India. The motorcycle was primarily introduced to take on the popular <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bajaj/avenger-cruise-220/" target="_blank">Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise</a>. Suzuki has stated that the model had been witnessing plummeting sales since early 2021. This was despite the motorcycle being priced Rs 10,000 lower than the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is worth noting that its streetfighter sibling, the Gixxer 155 has been garnering healthy numbers despite being priced Rs 6,000 higher than the Intruder. The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/suzuki/intruder-150/">Intruder </a>shares its powertrain with the Suzuki Gixxer. Both the motorcycles get a 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit. <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/suzuki/">Suzuki's</a> shift to BS-VI resulted in a slight drop in its power figures&nbsp;– as compared to the BS-IV model&nbsp;– which now stand&nbsp;at 13.4bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.8Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.</p>

<p>Now, the company has patented the Intruder 250 in India, but given&nbsp;the fate of the 150,&nbsp;it's possible that the former may not make it&nbsp;to India.</p>
