All new Porsche Panamera Turbo launched for Rs. 1.94 crore

Porsche has launched the all new Panamera in India for an ex-showroom Mumbai price of Rs. 1.94 crore.

The Porsche Panamera is the four-door super saloon from the Stuttgart based automotive manufacturer. The new generation of the Panamera is rebuilt completely from the ground up and in India, Porsche has launched the Panamera in two trims, the Panamera Turbo and the Panamera Turbo Executive.

The Panamera Turbo is powered by 4.-litre turbocharged V8 engine which produces 542bhp at 5,750 - 6,000rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 1,960 - 4,500rpm. The car has a top sped of 306km/h and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, equipped with the Sports Chrono package it can shave another two tenths in acceleration time. The car features an all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission.

Porsche has equipped the new Panamera Turbo with a panoramic sunroof, a four-zone automatic climate control with touchscreen display in rear compartment, a surround sound system sourced from Bose will be offered as standard, but it can be equipped with a Burmester High-End 3D surround sound system as well. The car will also feature ParkAssist with reversing camera and surround view.

The new Panamera features a wheelbase that has been extended by 30mm to provide more space for the rear passengers. In the Panamera Executive features the same powertrains and gearbox, but the wheelbase is extended further and has also been launched in India for Rs. 2.05 crore.

Panamera Diesel will also be launched in the Indian market with a 3.0-litre V6 and a 416bhp 4.0-litre V8 engine which develops 850Nm of torque.
