Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2018 C-Class Cabriolet with a new BS-VI compliant petrol motor which will generate 255bhp; gets a 0-100km/h time of 6.2 seconds.

Just a month after the launch of the 2018 C-Class facelift in India, Mercedes-Benz has now launched the updated version of the C-Class Cabriolet as well. Available only in a single trim (C300 Cabriolet), the car has been launched at a price of ₹ 65.25 lakh (Ex-showroom, India).

The new C-Class Cabriolet, which made its debut at the New York Auto Show earlier this year, features upgraded styling courtesy of re-styled bumpers, new 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and Mercedes' latest lighting tech - the new Multibeam LED headlamps with pixel-specific beam range and coverage control. The new C-Class Cabriolet also introduces two new metallic paint finishes - Mojave Silver and Selenite Grey along with a special paint option, Designo Selenite Grey Magno.

Coming to the powertrain details, the 2018 C-Class Cabriolet gets a new BS-VI compliant petrol motor. The 1,991cc M-264 four-cylinder power unit produces 255bhp and 370Nm of torque, which gives it 0-100km/h time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
