2023 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro Variant Launched in India at Rs 45.50 Lakh

A new version of the 2 Series Gran Coupe has been launched by BMW. Priced at Rs 45.50 lakh (ex-showroom), this M Sport Pro trim sits between the 220i M Sport and 220d M Sport. A 10-speaker sound system, heads-up display, and BMW gesture control are among the features included with the model.

The stylish 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMW India's entry-level sedan, has been updated with a new M Sport Pro variant priced at Rs 45.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The brand-new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro is only available with the turbo petrol engine and sits between the 220i M Sport and 220d M Sport trims. The price of the new 220i M Sport Pro is comparable to that of the diesel version, but it is approximately Rs 22 lakh more expensive than the 220i M Sport. The top-of-the-line petrol model, the BMW 220i M Sport Pro, adds a tonne of new features to the car.  A head-up display, BMW gesture control, and a potent 10-speaker audio system with 205 watts are some of the upgrades. The interior styling on the model has also improved. So without any further ado, let's quickly glance through the various aspects of the upcoming offering from the German luxury manufacturer.

2023 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro: Interior Features

Upgrades to the interior decor include a contrast-finish dashboard, an Anthracite roof lining made specifically for the M model, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with black stitching, paddle shifters, and illuminated Boston trim finishers. Moreover, the cabin contains specific locations where the M badging can be found. Overall, these upgrades further improve the BMW 220i M Sport Pro's appearance and features.

The model gains a number of new features with the launch of the top-tier petrol variant, the BMW 220i M Sport Pro. A head-up display, BMW gesture control, and a potent 205-watt 10-speaker audio system are a few of these features. Along with the new features, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro keeps the standard features found on the base model. One of these is a 10.25-inch digital console, and the other is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system running BMW OS 7.0. Other features that come as standard include ambient lighting, voice control, wireless charging, auto start/stop, dual-zone climate control, 3D navigation, and more.

2023 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro: Safety Features

Six airbags, three-point seatbelts for every passenger, ABS with CBC, DSC, traction control, ISOFIX child seat anchor mounts, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and other safety features are all included in the extensive list of safety features. The car has 17-inch alloy wheels, which further enhance its stylish and sporty appearance.

2023 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro: Powertrain and Performance

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is located under the hood of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro and has been tuned to produce 189bhp of maximum power and 280Nm of peak torque. The front wheels receive power from the engine through a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch gearbox. The vehicle also has cutting-edge features that improve performance, like launch control and a shift-by-wire gear selector. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro is marketed as being more thrilling and exciting to drive thanks to these upgrades.

BMW claims that the diesel version of the 2 Series Gran Coupe returns 18.64km/l, while the petrol variant achieves 14.82km/l according to ARAI certification.
