The brand-new Z4 Roadster by BMW India has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest offering from the house of the German carmaker, which is simply an upgrade to the Z4 lineup, has a revised exterior design and new interior amenities. Starting in June 2023, the new model will go on sale as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) model through the firm's dealerships. It also comes with a two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. According to the manufacturer, the current Z4 is inspired by its past origins. Sharing his thoughts on the car, Vikram Pawah, BMW Group India, said, "It is the epitome of driving pleasure with its powerful engine, rear-wheel drive, and a vehicle concept centered around agility and dynamic excellence with a premium ambience. With its dynamic proportions, emotional design, and thrilling sportiness, the open-top two-seater takes the traditional roadster experience to the modern era."

BMW Z4 Roadster

In comparison to previous models, the new BMW Z4 Roadster is sportier and more visually striking. By using the current BMW design language, the brand has effectively introduced new design accents to the performance sedan. The new BMW Kidney Grille, which has a horizontal inner structural design, large air intakes, and new LED headlights that are vertically oriented, can be found on the Z4. Long-bonnet styling, which extends over the wheel arches, is an iconic feature of the Z4. The standard soft-top, which opens and shuts electrically at the touch of a button, is unique to the "Roadster" variation. The model also receives a rear spoiler that elegantly protrudes from the body. The 19-inch M light alloy wheels, M Sport brakes, a Cerium Grey coating for the grille, ORVM caps, and exhaust pipes are a few other standout components.

2023 BMW Z4 Roadster: Engine, Gearbox, and Colour Options

When coupled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the car can accelerate from a complete stop to 100km/h in under 4.5 seconds. Thundernight, Skyscraper Grey, Portimao Blue, Black Sapphire, San Francisco Red, and an optional Frozen Grey II are among the colour options that buyers can choose from.
