2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition Debuts as Homage to the Sixth-Generation Model

To mark the end of the sixth-generation Camaro, Chevrolet has announced a Collector's Edition that aims to celebrate its legacy of style and agility. In the North American market, the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition will be offered across the LT/RS, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims. The special edition models draw inspiration from the original Camaro, codenamed Panther in the 1960s. Now in its sixth generation, the Camaro has been renowned for its design and performance since its debut in 2016. The Camaro ZL1 1LE is the culmination of many long years of development, boasting the tag of the 'most track-capable Camaro ever'.   

The LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims of the Collector's Edition get a Panther Black Metallic Tincoat paint job, accompanied by Satin Black accent stripes. Further, these cars feature the front splitter from the 1LE and the rear spoiler from the ZL1 package. These special edition models come with 20-inch Satin Black wheels and optional polished forged wheels.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Collector's Edition: Exterior, Interior

Limited to only 350 units, the ZL1 Collector's Edition wears a Panther Black Matte exterior colour that distinguishes it from the other trims. It further receives the front splitter and rear wing from the ZL1 1LE coupe. Other exterior bits include red brake callipers, black lug nuts, and ZL1's racing stripes. Inside, the Camaro ZL1 Collector's Edition flaunts a serialised steering wheel badge representing its production sequence.

In addition, there will be some extra Panther branding on all Collector's Edition models. The front fender script badging integrated a panther into the 'R'. Other elements include a distinct black treatment to the interior, a panther on the steering wheel badge, and special floor mats with Collector's Edition logo. Moreover, Chevrolet will also offer two new exterior colours across all trims - Riptide Blue and Nitro Metallic Yellow.   

2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition: Drivetrain

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition comes powered by a 3.6-litre V6, the standard 6.2-litre V8, or the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine, depending on the trim. The track-focussed 1LE package works with the ZL1's 6.2-litre LT4 supercharged V8 engine, cranking out 650bhp of maximum power. The 2024 Camaro comes in both coupe and convertible variants, spread across all the trims.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition: Price

In the North American market, the 2024 Camaro Collector's Edition will be available at a starting price of $ 32,495 for the LT coupe and $ 38,495 for the LT convertible. The automobile manufacturer will open its order books on June 15, and the models will be available in late summer. Chevrolet has revealed a wide range of special editions throughout the generation, ranging from the 50th Anniversary and Wild Cherry Design Package to the Shock and Steel Edition.   

Prospective buyers planning to buy the ZL1 Collector's Edition will get a bespoke Canfield Sport 45mm watch from Shinola, with the serial number of the car inscribed. It will also include the Camaro logo on its face and a Panther engraved on the watch band.
