Renault is set to bring the updated 2025 Kiger to India on 24 August 2025, just in time for the festive season. The launch follows the recent refresh of the Triber MPV and is part of Renault’s push to keep its SUV range fresh in a competitive compact SUV market. While the mechanical setup from the 2021 model will remain the same, the facelift will pack in styling tweaks, interior upgrades, and some fine-tuning to make the Kiger more appealing to buyers.
The 2025 Kiger is expected to feature a larger central air intake, a redesigned grille with Renault’s latest 2D logo, and reworked split headlamps with updated LED daytime running lights. At the rear, it may get new taillamp internals, while higher variants could offer LED fog lamps.

Inside, the facelift could bring updated upholstery, new colour themes, and more soft-touch materials. The 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and wireless charging are likely to be carried over, with Renault possibly refining the cabin experience to make it more comfortable and convenient.
Under the bonnet, things will remain familiar. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine puts out 71bhp and 96Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol option continues with 99bhp and 160Nm, available with manual and CVT transmissions. Renault might also bring a CNG variant for those who want lower running costs.

The updated Kiger will face off against the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Nissan Magnite. By timing the launch ahead of the festive rush, Renault is hoping the refreshed looks and cabin updates will help the Kiger gain more traction in a busy SUV market.
