The 2026 model year of the Kia Carens Clavis EV is now available with GT-Line and X-Line variants on the larger 51.4kWh battery versions. It has also gained a new 6-seater option, with captain seats in the second row. That said, Kia has kept things mechanically unchanged as the e-MPV continues with its existing 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs. The smaller battery produces 133bhp and offers 404 kilometres of range, while the 51.4kWh version develops 169bhp and has a range of 490 kilometres.
Kia has announced that the electrified Carens Clavis will now also be offered with a 6-seater configuration, similar to the ICE-powered model. This layout, which comes with second-row captain seats, is offered on select variants including HTX (E), HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line. That said, the 7-seater configuration remains available on the higher GTX, GTX+, and X-Line trims. Note that Kia has maintained uniform pricing across both 6-seater and 7-seater versions of the Carens Clavis EV.
The Carens Clavis EV line-up has been updated with new GT-Line and X-Line trims for the Extended Range models. They are offered in both 6- and 7-seater configurations, and carry a premium of Rs 50,000 each over their donor models (the GTX is based on the HTX trim, whereas the GTX+ and X-Line are based on the HTX+ variant).

As for cosmetic upgrades, the GT-Line (GTX, GTX+) adds sporty elements like new alloys, lime brake callipers, and metal pedals. The X-Line, on the other hand, gets a rugged look with Dark Gun Metal and Aurora Black Pearl finish. GTX+ and X-Line trims also offer features like Digital Key and battery heater, and standard range variants now come with updated 16-inch black aero alloy wheels.
The electric MPV is priced from Rs 17.99 lakh for the base HTK+ standard range variant in 7-seater avatar, while the range tops out at Rs 24.99 lakh for the fully-loaded GTX and X-Line extended range trims.
