50 000th Nissan Magnite Rolls Off The Production Line

Nissan's best-seller recently celebrated its first anniversary, and now, it celebrates another significant milestone for the Japanese marque!

In a little over a year since its launch, Nissan India has rolled out the 50,000th Magnite from the Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) plant in Chennai. The compact SUV is an integral part of the Nissan India product line-up as it's the first product to result from the Nissan NEXT transformation plan.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava (MD – Nissan Motor India) said, 'The love for Nissan Magnite is phenomenal with it being the most awarded Nissan vehicle in the Indian market. With a strong customer demand and with more than one lakh plus bookings (in domestic & export markets), the Magnite demonstrates Nissan’s global SUV DNA and technology.'

The Magnite recently made headlines for securing a four-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. The result wasn't a surprise, given that it had achieved the same feat last year in the ASEAN NCAP tests.

To offer maximum customer incentive, Nissan India also offers a subscription plan for the Magnite that enables customers to own the vehicle with zero down payment, zero insurance cost and zero maintenance cost. However, the plan is only offered in select cities, like Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai.

For those not aware, Nissan and Datsun also offer their entire product line-ups through Canteen Stores Department (CSD) across the country.
