Audi India announces Price Hike

Audi announced an increase in the price of its model range in India. The increase - spanning Rs 1.5 to 4.4 lakh - would range up to 4% across models from July 15, 2013. As a result the Audi Q5 will be dearer by Rs1.52 lakh while the Audi A6 price increases by Rs 1.8 lakh. The R8 on the other hand will see a steep rise in price by Rs. 4.42 lakh.

The steep slide in the rupee has led to a sharp increase in the import value of luxury cars. But Audi will not be the only luxury car manufacturer to announce a hike in price as we expect others to follow suit soon.
