Blaupunkt launches the Blue Magic and Velocity series in India

Blaupunkt has a huge historical lineage to its name. Be it innovations like the first car radio, way back in 1932 or the first radio with video navigation. The German company is one of the top most brands around the world known for their innovation in sound and in-car entertainment.

Blaupunkt recently launched their range of high performance sound series in India – Blue Magic and Velocity. Blue Magic caters to the low range spectrum of sound from Blaupunkt, but in no ways compromises on the quality. The Blue Magic speaker series will be available in Co-axial, Tri-axial, Quad-axial and component speakers.

With 8 different models and 5 sizes to choose from, Blaupunkt has spared no expense to package it in an attractive manner. The Blue Magic series comes with an amplifier with high power output of 500 Watts RMS, while the subwoofer is matched perfectly for peak power handling.

The next range of products is more premium and named Velocity. Velocity, for Blaupunkt, is a premium range worldwide, which offers unmatched sound quality. The oversized magnets, hard-wearing sounds produce quality sound whether it be instrumental or vocal music. Velocity infact, was revealed in 1997 and since then has constantly seen innovation and with it, Blaupunkt wants to raise the bar when it comes to in-car infotainment systems.

Both the Blue Magic series and the Velocity series are available at Blaupunkts various dealers across the country. Blaupunkt will import both these products from its plant and R&D facility in Malaysia and sell it in India. When asked whether they had plans to build a manufacturing facility in India, the answer was simple – they didn’t need to. Things are working out for them just fine.
