BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition Launched at Rs 46 Lakh in India

BMW India has launched the 220i M Performance Edition at Rs 46 Lakh (ex-showroom). According to the luxury automaker, limited units of the four-door coupe will be sold here, which will be available in a single Black Sapphire Metallic colour. The car is open for reservations at Rs 1.50 lakh through the BMW Online Shop. The newly launched 2 Series M Performance Edition features a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 73.5bhp and 280Nm of torque. The front wheels receive power from an automatic transmission with a 7-speed dual clutch. The car can go from a standstill to 100km/h in only 7.1 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class limousine, which costs Rs 45.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India), is the only competitor to the 2 Series Gran Coupe in our market. The limited-edition sedan comes with a M Performance front grille, a M Performance Alcantara gear selector lever, and other BMW M Performance components. It is only offered in Black Sapphire Metallic paint in our market. The grille, wing mirrors, and front bumper inserts are all finished in Cerium Grey. Inside, the car has a beige and black theme. Additionally, the vehicle has a 430-litre boot, which can be expanded, thanks to the split-folding capability of the back seats (40/20/40).

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition: Engine

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which can deliver 173.5bhp and 280Nm, powers the new BMW sedan. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 2 Series Gran Coupe claims to do the 0 to 100km/h sprint in 7.1 seconds. Further, the model offers a mileage of 14.82km/l.
