BMW is marking 50 years of the 3 Series with two special edition models exclusively for India. The marque has launched the BMW 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition priced at Rs 64 lakh and the BMW M340i 50 Jahre Edition at Rs 76.9 lakh (both, ex-showroom). With only 50 units of each model available, they represent a rare opportunity for discerning buyers. The 3 Series has a rich heritage, starting in 1975 as the successor to the BMW 02 Series. Across multiple generations, it has established itself as one of BMW’s most iconic and trusted models for those seeking the perfect blend of performance and luxury. Both editions come fully equipped with all the features found in the standard 3 Series range. This includes three-zone climate control, smartphone-enabled functions, keyless entry, advanced driver assistance systems, and parking assist.

Adding a special touch for the M340i 50 Jahre Edition buyers is a 1:18 scale model of the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL, linking the present-day 3 Series with BMW’s rich motorsport heritage.
What sets the BMW 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition apart are its distinctive styling elements. It sports the M High-Gloss Shadowline package, featuring a sombre grille, exhaust tips, and window surrounds. Each car proudly bears a laser-etched '1/50' badge to signify its exclusivity.

Buyers can select from Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, or M Carbon Black. Inside, the cabin boasts a widescreen curved display, head-up display, carbon fibre trims, a panoramic sunroof, and electrically adjustable seats with extended thigh support. Under the bonnet lies a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 258bhp and 400Nm of torque.
The BMW M340i 50 Jahre Edition caters to enthusiasts who crave performance. Powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine producing 369bhp and 500Nm of torque, it features all-wheel drive and an M Sport differential, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Its exterior is distinguished by 19-inch Jet Black alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and exclusive 50 Jahre badging on the hubcaps and door pins.
