BMW 620d M Sport Signature Launched in India at Rs 78.90 Lakh

BMW has launched the 620d M Sport Signature in India at Rs 78.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The high-end car was previously accessible as a petrol model in our market. However, it now also comes with a diesel engine and bookings for the same are underway at all authorised dealerships nationwide. The German automaker assembles the sedan in Chennai and offers it in four hues: Tanzanite Blue, Mineral White, Carbon Black, and Skyscraper Grey. The interior of the 620d M Sport Signature is equipped with two sizable 12.3-inch screens. These include a touchscreen infotainment system that is driven by the BMW Live Cockpit Professional and a fully digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system runs the BMW Operating System 7.0 and is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It features an audio system including 16 speakers by Harman Kardon. BMW 620d M Sport Signature: Powertrain and Safety

The new BMW 620d M Sport Signature employs a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel motor that produces 188bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 400Nm. It is paired with an eight-speed automated transmission, which is sourced from ZF. In terms of performance, the trim takes 7.9 seconds to accelerate from a full stop to 100km/h. Its fuel efficiency rating stands at 18.65km/l.

The 620d version comes equipped with electronic differential lock control (EDLC), dynamic traction control (DTC), six airbags, ABS, braking assist, and cornering brake control (CBC) for safety. It also includes paddle shifters, a BMW key with a display, a panoramic sunroof, a smartphone holder built into the centre console, wireless charging, a rearview camera with park assist, and remote control parking in its features list.

In addition to the four metallic paint jobs previously stated, the exterior of the sedan boasts a kidney-shaped grille, BMW laser light headlights, a sloping roofline reminiscent of a coupe, LED taillights, and exhaust pipes that are chrome-plated. The interior of the sedan includes electric front seats with a memory function wrapped with 'Dakota' leather upholstery with contrast black piping and exclusive stitching. There are also six dimmable ambient lighting trim options and soft-close door functionality. Among other things, the 620d has a rear-seat entertainment kit with two USB Type-C ports and 10.2-inch screens. Nevertheless, it is devoid of the launch control feature seen in the 630i M Sport Signature.
