BMW India has announced significant price reductions across its entire range following the government’s revised GST structure. The brand has lowered prices by up to Rs 8.9 lakh on select models, with the new rates effective immediately. By doing so, BMW is directly passing on the tax benefits to customers, making its cars more attainable. This follows the GST Council’s updated rules for passenger vehicles, prompting BMW to revise prices on both imported and locally assembled models. The reductions apply to sedans, SUVs, and electric cars, broadening the appeal across multiple segments.

Key models included in the revision are the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, X1, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, X5, and the flagship X7. The largest reductions are seen on high-end models that previously attracted higher tax rates.
The updated prices cover all fuel types, including petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric variants. BMW has confirmed that all customer invoices moving forward will reflect the revised figures, while dealers are updating ex-showroom and on-road pricing to provide clarity to buyers.
