BMW M2 Competition listed on India company site

BMW’s hot little M2 Competition is now listed on the company’s India website. But before you head over to check it out, don’t forget to read our review and watch the video review here…

We all know that the sensational BMW M2 Competition is going to be launched in India sooner rather than later. We have in fact driven the car too on the equally sensational Portimao race track in Portugal. And you can read all about it here – BMW M2 Competition Review: First Drive

But what we are here to tell you today is that BMW has now listed the M2 Competition on its official India website. You can check out all the details about the car on the site itself and even download the brochure for the India spec car. And joy of joys, we are happy to report that BMW heard our prayers and is in fact launching the six-speed manual gearbox version of the M2 Competition in India.

The only thing that is missing from the website is the car’s price. But then again, that’s a given considering that the car’s India launch is still due. And while we do hope that BMW will price the car below the crore mark, rumour has it that bookings for the car have opened. And while there is no official confirmation on the matter, you can register your interest in the car by dropping in your mobile telephone number by clicking on a little tab in the M2 page on the website.

BMW’s M2 Competition has got every enthusiast at attention in India with its expected India launch to be happening soon. And although, the sticker price is expected to be out of reach for the average automotive enthusiast in India, its 3.0 litre, straight six petrol engine which is good for 405bhp along with its beautifully balanced chassis has everyone wanting to get behind the wheel to experience what is arguably one of the most fun to drive cars out there today.
