BMW has confirmed that the pre-bookings for the X3 30 xDrive will open at 12:30 PM on January 30, 2026, with launch set for February 16. BMW currently offers the X3 in xDrive20 petrol and xDrive20d diesel variants, both powered by 2.0-litre turbo engines. The new 30 xDrive will have an M Sport Pro package and an updated powertrain. It will be produced locally at the company's plant in Chennai. Here's all you need to know about the new BMW X3 30 xDrive.

BMW X3 30 xDrive: Design

Globally, the all-new X3 has already made its debut with the X3 30 xDrive and the high-performance X3 M50 xDrive variants. In India, the X3 30 xDrive will be launched in a M Sport Pro avatar, likely featuring enhanced sporty styling and features.

As seen on the global-spec new X3, the overall stance looks more aggressive and muscular. Updated lights, sharper contours, and more pronounced proportions add to the commanding road presence. The front is dominated by a glowing kidney grille, framed by sharp LED headlamps with BMW’s distinctive new DRL design.

BMW X3 30 xDrive: Powertrain

The new X3 30 xDrive will come with a significantly enhanced powertrain, delivering more power and torque than its predecessor. However, official figures for India are yet to be announced. Globally, the model uses a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid setup, generating 255bhp of maximum power and 400Nm of peak torque. BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system channels this power to all four wheels. Thanks to this setup, the SUV dashes from 0 to 100km/h in 6 seconds.
