Bugatti FKP Hommage pays tribute to the iconic Veyron with classic design cues, a bespoke interior and a 1,578 bhp W16 engine in a one-off build.

Bugatti has gone back to its roots with the FKP Hommage, a one-off car built to celebrate the Veyron and the man who made it happen, Prof Dr Ferdinand Karl Piëch. It has been created under Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire, which focuses on special builds made for a single customer. The timing is important too, as it marks 20 years since the Veyron first changed how people looked at speed and engineering. This car is not about numbers alone. It is about remembering the moment when Bugatti shocked the car world with the Veyron.

The FKP Hommage brings that feeling back, mixing familiar design cues with modern hardware while staying true to what made the original car so important.

At first glance, the connection to the Veyron is clear. The stance, the proportions and the overall shape feel instantly familiar. Bugatti has reworked the horseshoe grille into a solid aluminium piece, giving the front a cleaner and more purposeful look. The air intakes are larger than before, helping with cooling while keeping the design simple and balanced.

The two-tone body layout returns, but this time it is shaped through the panels rather than just paint. The roof carries twin air ducts behind the cabin, another clear nod to the Veyron. Wheel sizes measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, wrapped in modern tyres designed to cope with the performance this car is capable of.
Inside, the FKP Hommage steps away from modern Bugatti interiors and leans closer to the Veyron’s era. The layout feels clean and purposeful, with the circular steering wheel setting the tone straight away. The dashboard and centre console are machined from solid aluminium, with visible finishes that highlight the car’s mechanical roots.

Custom fabrics run across the seats and door panels, adding warmth to the cabin without overcomplicating the design. At the centre of the dashboard sits a mechanical timepiece, replacing screens and reminding you that this car is about feel, not displays.
Power comes from the familiar 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16, pushing out around 1,578 bhp. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive, the same basic setup that has defined Bugatti’s modern cars. While the numbers are still massive, this car is not trying to chase headlines. Instead, the W16 sits here as a quiet reminder of the engine that once changed everything for the brand.

The FKP Hommage feels like Bugatti pausing for a moment before moving forward. It looks back at the Veyron era, a time that shaped the company’s direction for years to come.

Built as a single example, it is not about volumes or future models. It is simply a nod to the car that started Bugatti’s modern story and why its influence still matters today.
