BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition Launched in India – Check Price, Features, Booking Details and More

BYD has launched the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition in India. The model celebrates one year of the premium electric SUV in the Indian market and is priced from Rs 49.40 lakh (ex-showroom), the same as the standard model. Bookings for the special edition are now open with a token amount of Rs 70,000. It features an exclusive Tahiti Blue interior theme, along with complimentary benefits such as free service and a home charger package. Read on to know more.

BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition: Key Details

The Anniversary Edition of the BYD Sealion 7 keeps the same core design while adding a new Tahiti Blue colour scheme inside that adds to the premium look. Features-wise, the SUV remains well-equipped with multi-colour ambient lighting, Nappa leather seats with quilted detailing, a 12-speaker sound system, a panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, a 15.6-inch rotatable infotainment display, and ventilated and heated seats.

BYD is offering enticing benefits as part of the First Anniversary Offer for the first 1,100 customers. These include a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation and 2 years of free service and maintenance. The SUV also features a segment-first low-voltage battery (LVB) based on LFP technology, covered under an extended 8-year/150,000 km warranty, compared to the standard 6-year coverage. Meanwhile, the high-voltage battery continues with an 8-year/160,000 km warranty. These benefits are available on bookings made till April 30, 2026.

The Anniversary Edition continues to use an 82.6kWh battery. The Premium RWD model offers a maximum power of 308bhp and a peak torque of 380Nm, with a range of 567 kilometres. Meanwhile, the Performance AWD version increases power and torque to 523bhp and 690Nm, respectively. However, its range is slightly shorter at 542 kilometres.
