General Motors has launched the new Enjoy MPV in India, at a starting price tag of Rs 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updates are mostly cosmetic and focus more on the interiors than on the outside look and feel of the MPV.

The front of the new Enjoy is dominated by a three-dimensional grille, with ‘Leaf Style’ fog lamps also gathering particular attention. Changes to the exteriors are limited to chrome garnish above the license plate and black stripes on the B-pillar.

On the inside, the Chevrolet Enjoy sports a new dual-tone colour scheme, and a Triple Cluster Silver Surround Instrument Panel. A three-spoke steering wheel also makes it way to the MPV, with chrome embellishments added on the inside door handles, AC vents, gear knob and parking lever.

The Chevrolet Enjoy is available in seven and eight seater trims, as well as with petrol and diesel options. The 1.4-litre petrol engine churns out 100.2 PS of power and a maximum torque of 131 Nm, while the 1.3-litre diesel variant is capable of delivering 74.8 PS of power and 172.5 Nm of torque.

“The Chevrolet Enjoy continues to be the most value-for-money proposition in the compact MPV segment. With a host of refreshing new changes including a brand new three-spoke sporty steering wheel with audio controls, the new Chevrolet Enjoy is even more upmarket and appealing thereby addressing the dual needs for family travel and business use,” said Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India.

On the safety and security front, the Enjoy comes equipped with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Dual Front Airbags, Speed-Sensitive Auto Door Locks, and a Remote Key Locking & Unlocking System.
