Citroen Aircross Xplorer Edition Launched in India, Check What's New

Citroen India has rolled out the Aircross Xplorer edition, a special edition variant of the Aircross SUV. The base model of the car begins at Rs 8.49 lakh, while the Plus variant is available for Rs 9.99 lakh. Aimed at adventure enthusiasts with an eye for unique design, the Aircross Xplorer edition boasts exclusive features and special pricing. It is offered in two variants, Plus and Max, with an added cost of Rs 24,000 over the standard pricing. Therefore, the Aircross Xplorer with the Standard Pack is available at a price range of Rs 10.23 lakh to Rs 14.79 lakh. For those opting for the Optional Pack, it adds a rear entertainment screen for the left-side passenger and includes a dual-port adapter along with the features from the Standard Pack. Priced at an additional Rs 51,700, the Aircross Xplorer with the Optional Pack will cost between Rs 10.51 lakh and Rs 15.06 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.

Citroen Aircross Xplorer Edition: Key Details

The limited-edition Aircross Xplorer is designed to attract a broad audience with its striking appearance and elevated driving experience. This special version includes a variety of upscale features that enhance both aesthetics and practicality, such as a dashcam for increased safety, footwell lighting for a touch of luxury inside, illuminated sill plates, and an eye-catching hood garnish. The exterior is further enhanced by bold body graphics and khaki accents, giving the Aircross Xplorer a rugged, adventurous vibe. For those interested in added options, a rear-seat entertainment system is also available, ideal for long-distance travel.

Citroen Aircross SUV: Powertrain Options

Following a recent update, the Citroën Aircross offers two petrol engine choices: the 1.2-litre Gen-3 Puretech 110 turbo and the newly added 1.2-litre Puretech 82 naturally aspirated (NA) engine. The turbocharged engine belts out 110bhp of maximum power and 190Nm of peak torque, while the NA version delivers 82bhp and 110Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic for the turbo engine and a five-speed manual for the naturally aspirated variant.
