Citroen C3 Aircross SUV Launch, Delivery Timeline and Mileage Figures Revealed

Citroen has made substantial revelations regarding the forthcoming compact Citroen C3 Aircross. The automaker will start accepting pre-orders for the vehicle in our market in September, and it will go on sale in October. Besides the launch timeline, the French carmaker has uncloaked mileage of the mid-size SUV. Powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that can produce 108bhp and 190Nm, the SUV claims to have an ARAI-certified fuel economy rating of 18.5 km/l. As mentioned, the model will be a part of the mid-size sports utility vehicle segment in India, and therefore lock horns with the counterparts such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Hyundai Creta, the Skoda Kushaq, and more. Citroen C3 Aircross: Dimensions

According to industry reports, the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross will be roughly 4300mm in length. However, the carmaker has affirmed the wheelbase of the model at 2,671mm. It has also announced the ground clearance of the vehicle, which stands at 200mm. 

Citroen C3 Aircross: Engine and Mileage

At its heart, the SUV will harbour 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which can deliver 108bhp and 190Nm. This motor will initially make use of a six-speed manual gearbox. As far as fuel efficiency goes, this powerplant claims to deliver an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.5 km/l.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Features

The SUV with a 5+2 seating arrangement has a range of features, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, auto climate control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, etc. According to industry reports, the mid-size SUV's higher-spec models would include top technologies including a tyre pressure monitoring system, auto stop-start, hill-hold, and more. However, there will be no sunroof available with any of the versions of the car.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Expected Price

Upon launch in October, the C3 Aircross is expected to carry a starting price tag of Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
