Citroen has also entered the competition among manufacturers to attract value-conscious car buyers ahead of the festive season by introducing significant price reductions across its lineup. The move is motivated by the new GST 2.0 regime, which will take effect on September 22, 2025. The Citroen C5 Aircross has benefited from maximum savings of up to Rs 2.70 lakh, with the Shine variant now starting at Rs 37.32 lakh. Meanwhile, the C3 and C3X have seen price drops of up to Rs 84,000, with prices now starting at Rs 4.80 lakh. The Aircross SUV, in both 5- and 7-seater configurations, has also become more affordable, with reductions reaching up to Rs 50,000. Additionally, the Citroen Basalt and recently launched Basalt X begin at a GST-adjusted price of Rs 7.95 lakh. Do note that the final price benefit may vary based on the selected model.

In addition to Citroen, many automakers in India have rolled out revised pricing or price reductions across their model lineups. Hyundai has announced price cuts of up to Rs 2.40 lakh, depending on the model.

Meanwhile, Kia has confirmed reductions of up to Rs 4.49 lakh, depending on the model. Tata Motors has also announced to slash prices of its models by up to Rs 1.55 lakh.
