Fisker Ronin Super GT Convertible Details Revealed, Claims 965km Range

California-based EV-maker Fisker Inc. has officially revealed crucial details about the Ronin Super GT convertible. Founded by Henrik Fisker and his wife Geeta Gupta-Fisker, the American automotive company currently has one electric vehicle, and it’s called the Ocean. And in a recent development, the carmaker says that its all-electric Ronin Super GT convertible will hit the global market with a sticker price of $ 3,85,000 (approx. Rs 3.19 crore, ex-showroom). Prospective buyers can make their reservations either through the company's official website or an authorised dealership. The Fisker Ronin Super GT convertible can be booked for a token amount of $ 2,000, which roughly translates to Rs 1.6 lakh. And we suspect that the deliveries for the all-powerful EV will commence in the second half of 2025. Fisker also says that the Super GT will be a limited-run model, the number of units that will exit the production ramp will be limited to 999.

Fisker Ronin Super GT Convertible: Powertrain and Performance

Underneath the skin, the convertible will be equipped with an integrated battery pack, which enables you to achieve a driving range of 965km (600 miles) on a full charge, according to Fisker. Power output is rated at about 986bhp. A sprint from 0 to 96km/h is possible in a claimed time of just two seconds, while the electric vehicle tops out at 275km/h.

The car features an aluminium space frame with integrated battery cells and carbon fibre 23-inch wheels. Thanks to the use of lightweight material in its construction, some weight savings have been achieved. On the looks front, the car sports butterfly doors for the rear occupants, while the front doors can be unlocked electrically by swiping the handle or using the smartphone application. 

According to Fisker, the all-electric Ronin Super GT can be transformed into a sort of 2-in-1 vehicle when the foldable carbon-fibre hardtop is raised, akin to the Mercedes-Ben S-Class convertible. As a result, it ensures ample luggage space. By the way, the foldable roof is activated via a smartphone. Also, there is a front trunk that lends additional storage space.

The Super GT seats five people comfortably. Recycled and sustainable materials have been used in the making of its interior. On the feature front, the car comes with a 17.1-inch high-resolution screen and an instrument cluster for the driver. The instrument cluster displays important information, such as speed, cabin warning signs, RPM, etc.

At the price point of $3,85,000, the all-electric flagship model can take on the likes of the Bentley Continental GTC Mulliner W12. For those unaware, the Ronin Super GT convertible made its debut at the inaugural Fisker Product Vision Day on August 3, 2023.
