New Hyundai Alcazar Interior

The new Hyundai Alcazar is coming. While we have already seen its exterior images, we now get to see the Alcazar facelift's interior fully uncovered. The interior reveal suggests that the updated Hyundai Alcazar gets the Creta-inspired cabin, in addition to some new features. This means that the Alcazar facelift brings in a dual-screen setup – a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Apart from that, the interior features a two-tone brown (Noble Brown) and dark blue (Haze Navy) theme, paired with brushed aluminium and glossy black accents all around. The air-con vents are now positioned below the touchscreen, while there are captain seats in the second row (6-seat variant). The seats come with better cushioning as well as foldable armrests creating more space. Meanwhile, the 7-seat variant is claimed to offer a seat tumble mechanism for hassle-free ingress/egress to the third row, along with improved seat cushioning and support. Plus, the front row gets cooled seats, while the second row brings in the convenience of wireless charging and dual USB Type-C charging ports.

As for the 6-seat model, the seat ventillation feature can be had with all four individual seats. Additional bits on the 6-seat model include adjustable thigh support and headrests (with side bolstering) for the second-row seats, while the headrests for the third-row seats are finished in blue.

Along with these features, the new Hyundai Alcazar also offers a Bose music system, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, and eight-way powered seats for the driver and the co-driver. Besides, a quilted pattern for seats adds a premium touch. For safety, Hyundai could equip the new Alcazar with a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain

Under the hood, the new Alcazar gets the same engine options (1.5-litre turbo-petrol/1.5-litre diesel) as the outgoing version. The turbo-petrol unit generates 157.8bhp and 253Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The diesel unit, on the other hand, produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm and comes with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. The SUV has three drive modes – sport, comfort, and eco – and three traction control modes – snow, sand, and mud.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Variants, Colours

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will arrive in four variants and nine exterior colour options. The variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature – will differ from each other in terms of powertrain setup and selected seating configuration. As for colour options, the updated Alcazar will be offered in the following: Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, Starry Night, and Titan Grey Matte, as well as Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof.
