Hyundai has introduced a suite of new features for the top-spec SX trim of the Aura sedan, making it expensive by Rs 9,000 in India, now priced at Rs 8.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The SX trim sits below the top-of-the-line SX(O) model, and is offered with both petrol and CNG powertrains. The Hyundai Aura remains one of the most popular compact sedans in India, and competes against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the Tata Tigor, and the Honda Amaze. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s new in the updated SX trim.
The SX variant of the compact sedan now offers an enhanced driving experience with the addition of projector headlamps and a fully automatic temperature control system. These features were previously exclusive to the higher-spec SX+ AMT and SX(O) MT variants.

The SX trim continues with a smart key with push-button start/stop, an 8-inch touchscreen, 15-inch alloy wheels, and a rear camera.
The Hyundai Aura SX retains its 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 82bhp and 114Nm. While running on the CNG, the unit offers 68bhp and 95Nm. The variant comes equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Due to the addition of new features, the Aura SX Petrol Manual is now priced at Rs 8.24 lakh, while the SX CNG Manual is available for Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai has widened its Knight Edition lineup in India. The Knight Edition of the Alcazar is priced from Rs 21.66 lakh, while the i20 and the Creta Electric start at Rs 9.15 lakh and Rs 21.45 lakh. respectively, in their new avatars. The Alcazar Knight Edition is based on the 7-seater Signature variant of the sedan. Meanwhile, the Creta Electric Knight Edition builds on the Excellence models.

The Knight Edition of the i20 is offered on the top-spec Sportz (O) MT and Asta (O) CVT variants.
