Hyundai has introduced the Creta Electric Knight Edition in India, giving its popular EV a fresh look with a darker, sportier theme. Instead of reworking the mechanicals, Hyundai has focused on design updates aimed at younger buyers who want their SUV to stand out while still being practical and electric. Priced at Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom), the Knight Edition sits above the standard Creta Electric. With this move, Hyundai is targeting customers who value visual appeal just as much as everyday usability.

On the outside, the Knight Edition goes all in on blacked-out styling. The grille, bumpers, and Hyundai badging all wear a gloss black finish, while red accents on the alloy wheels and front brake callipers add a sharp contrast. A special Knight Edition badge at the rear makes sure there’s no mistaking it for the regular model.
Inside, the black-and-red theme continues with red stitching on the seats, complemented by a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting to lift the cabin. The tech and connectivity features remain unchanged from the standard Creta Electric, meaning buyers still get the full digital dashboard setup, touchscreen infotainment, and connected car features.
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The Knight Edition retains the same battery, range, and powertrain as the existing Creta Electric, along with its safety tech.
The Creta Electric Knight Edition comes with two battery options, 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The 42kWh version makes 135hp, while the 51.4kWh pack produces 171hp. Both deliver the same torque of 255Nm.

The 42kWh model now offers up to 420km on a single charge, up from 390km. The 51.4kWh version goes up to 510km, compared to 473km earlier. These updates make the Creta Electric Knight more practical for longer drives while maintaining flexibility in choice.
