A new test mule of the updated Hyundai Creta has been spotted in South Korea, revealing several new design elements on the mid-size SUV. While the majority of details remain hidden under heavy camouflage, you can notice that the all-new Creta looks boxier and more upright than before. Its grille, headlamps, and bumper also appear to be new. The car lacks roof rails, which suggests the test vehicle is a lower-spec trim. While the side profile appears to be the same, the rear is expected to have a few notable changes in the form of connected taillamps and a redesigned bumper.

The SUV appears to have body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. However, there are no side cameras, which indicates that this lower-spec variant will not come with a 360-degree surround-view system.
The most recent spy shots do not reveal the interior of the all-new Creta, but it is expected to be more spacious, thanks to its transition to the new K3 platform. The revised model may also offer additional convenience features in the form of a Boss Mode.

That said, the Creta is likely to retain its existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine lineup. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 113bhp and 144Nm, while the turbo-petrol variant delivers 158bhp and 253Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 114bhp and 250Nm, with transmission options expected to include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, IVT, and a seven-speed DCT.
For now, there is no official confirmation, but the updated Creta is anticipated to go on sale in the country by the end of 2026 or early 2027. With notable upgrades, the SUV will likely cost more than the existing version, which starts at Rs 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
