The Hyundai Elantra TCR Edition has finally reached the Canadian shores, following its global debut in November last year. The track-inspired machine, inspired by the TCR World Tour championship race car, is priced at CA$47,599 ( approx. Rs 30.15 lakh) for the 6-speed manual version, and CA$49,199 (approx. 31.16 lakh) for the DCT model. It comes with four colour options: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Cyber Grey, and the iconic Performance Blue.
While the new edition is a derivative of a high-performance Hyundai Elantra variant with several enhancements, there is no official confirmation on its arrival in our market. Hyundai currently does not offer either the Elantra or Elantra N in our market.

The TCR Edition maintains the core design of the Elantra N and adds special upgrades inspired by racing for a more sportier and track-inspired appeal. One of the major highlights is the lightweight Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, which can be adjusted to improve downforce depending on how and where you're driving.

The car also comes with lightweight 19-inch N TCR forged alloy wheels, a unique TCR Edition badge on the trunk, and a powerful N Performance brake setup with four-piston front calipers and two-piece front rotors for better stopping power.
Inside, the TCR Edition has a sporty feel with an Alcantara-wrapped N Performance steering wheel that features a red 12 o’clock marker, blue seat belts in the front row, and custom N Performance door scuff plates and floor mats. The interior also gets an Alcantara treatment on the gear knob, handbrake lever, and armrest.

The TCR Edition retains the powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged engine from the standard Elantra N that produces 272bhp and 392Nm. For an extra boost, models equipped with the N Grin Shift (NGS) feature can reach up to 282bhp. Transmission options include an 8-speed N Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (N-DCT) and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
