Hyundai Elite i20 & i20 Active get sat-nav

News about Hyundai launching even better equipped versions of its Elite i20 premium hatchback and i20 Active crossover styled hatchback had been doing the rounds. Hyundai has now come around to launch these variants in the country in the top-end Asta (O) variants of the Elite i20 and SX variants of the i20 Active. Fitted with 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment systems, both these iterations of the second generation Hyundai i20 now feature satellite navigation alongside Bluetooth connectivity for phones that will allow users to not only access phone contacts, etc but also stream music off their phones. No worries about forgetting your music at home now is there. Both the Hyundai Elite i20 and Hyundai i20 Active have been the most well equipped cars in their segments right from the day they were launched. And now with the introduction of the touchscreen infotainment system in the top-end variants, Hyundai has pushed the boundaries even further of what premium hatchbacks offer. Some of the equipment highlights of the cars include tilt and telescopically adjustable steering, rear a/c vents, climate control, cooled glovebox, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, push button start/stop, front arm rest with storage space, automatic head lamps and diamond cut alloy wheels. Interestingly, the Asta (O) variants with the new infotainment system do not get 1GB of internal storage space like the variants that get the double-DIN stereo. The new infotainment system is available in the petrol Hyundai Elite i20 Asta (O) which is priced at Rs. 7.16 lakh. The diesel Elite i20 Asta (O) is priced at Rs. 8.28 lakh. The Hyundai i20 Active SX AVN petrol is priced at Rs. 7.92 lakh while the diesel I20 Active SX is priced at Rs. 9.16 lakh. All prices are indicative of ex-showroom Delhi. The Elite i20 is otherwise available in a total of six variants for petrol and diesel models each, namely, Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz (O), Asta and Asta (O). Prices for the car range between Rs. 5.34 lakh to Rs. 8.28 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The i20 Active is available with three petrol variants and four diesel variants, namely, Base, S, SX and SX with satellite navigation. The petrol i20 Active is only available with the sat-nav equipped SX. The Hyundai i20 Active is priced between Rs. 6.47 lakh to Rs. 9.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
