Hyundai i20 Becomes More Affordable in India, Prices Now Begin at Rs 5.99 Lakh

As a dealer-installed option, Hyundai is offering a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a rear camera, priced at Rs 14,999.

Hyundai i20 Magna Executive Variant

The prices for the Hyundai i20 now start at Rs 5.99 lakh in India. Despite the lower price, the recently re-introduced Era variant is a well-equipped offering for those seeking to buy an affordable hatchback in India, with amenities such as six airbags, a fully digital instrument cluster, a Type-C USB charger, telescopic steering, front and rear skid plates, body-colour ORVMs, and door handles. Hyundai has also reduced prices for the Magna Executive and Magna variants of the hatch by up to Rs 13,000. The Magna Executive now carries a price tag of Rs 6.74 lakh, while the Magna trim is priced at Rs 6.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

2026 Hyundai i20: Optional Infotainment Package with Warranty Coverage

Hyundai has announced a Dealer Installed Option (DIO), which includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a rear camera. This add-on package is available for Rs 14,999 and is backed by a 3-year warranty.

2026 Hyundai i20: Engine

The Hyundai i20 continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine with 83bhp and 114.7Nm. This unit can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
