Hyundai has launched the i20 Knight Edition in India, with prices starting at Rs 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The Knight Edition is based on the two well-equipped variants of the hatchback: the Sportz (O) with a manual transmission and the Asta (O) with a CVT automatic. It carries a premium of Rs 10,000 over the respective standard variants. As we have seen on other Knight Hyundais, the all-black i20 gets stealthy styling and exclusive details. The engine and feature list, however, remain the same. Here's a closer look at the new version of the i20 hatchback.
Similar to the recently introduced Creta Electric Knight and the Alcazar Knight Editions, the special edition of the i20 hatch comes with notable cosmetic upgrades. Key highlights include black alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and blacked-out side sills, rear spoiler, and skid plates.

The Hyundai logos are also matte black. Inside, the car offers black upholstery, brass highlights, and metal pedals.
The i20 Knight is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82bhp. Buyers can choose between a CVT automatic and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The i20 Sportz (O) MT is priced at Rs 9.15 lakh, while the Asta (O) CVT Knight costs Rs 11.35 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.

Alongside the launch of the i20 Knight Edition, Hyundai has introduced new features for the i20 and the i20 N Line (which vary as per variant selected). Some of the amenities include a roof-mounted spoiler, and a dashcam.
