Hyundai has pulled the covers off the Ioniq 6 N at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, unveiling its latest high-performance EV under the N sub-brand, following the Ioniq 5 N. Built on the modular E-GMP platform and housing an 84kWh battery, the all-wheel-drive setup delivers up to 641bhp of maximum power and 770Nm of peak torque when N Grin Boost is engaged. This allows the electric sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in a rapid 3.2 seconds, with a top speed nearing 257km/h. Engineered for both spirited driving and everyday use, the Ioniq 6 N features simulated gear shifts via N e-Shift, drift-oriented tuning, adaptive suspension geometry, and immersive ambient lighting effects, offering an engaging mix of cutting-edge tech and high-voltage performance.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering up to 641bhp of maximum power with Launch Control, dropping to 601bhp during standard mode. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 257km/h. The system is powered by an 84kWh battery, though Hyundai hasn't released range figures yet. Braking is handled by 400mm front discs with four-piston callipers and 360mm rear discs with single-piston callipers.

The Ioniq 6 N debuts a new colour called Performance Blue Pearl and features gloss black bumpers and trim. The front gets a larger bumper with red accents and bigger air intakes. At the rear, the light bar is removed, and the car now gets a fixed wing and a prominent diffuser. It rolls on 20-inch black wheels with specially developed Pirelli P-Zero tyres.
Underneath, the Ioniq 6 N has a revised suspension layout and stiffer chassis to improve handling and stability. A lower roll centre helps with high-speed grip, while new electronically controlled dampers with stroke sensors adjust suspension behaviour based on driving conditions.

Several features, such as N Grin Boost (which gives maximum power for 10 seconds), N Drift Optimiser, and N Launch Control, further enhance driving performance. Ambient lighting also acts as a gear shift indicator with the e-Shift system.
