Hyundai Kona Iron Man Edition revealed

Features unique exterior and interior accents inspired by Iron Man. 

Hyundai has teamed up with Marvel to release a limited edition Iron Man inspired Kona. Called the Kona Iron Man Edition, it builds up on the same theme as the Superhero Edition Renault Kwid which was introduced a few months back. However, while the Kwid is sold in India, the Kona isn’t coming here anytime soon.  

On the outside, the Kona Iron Man Edition has a bespoke front lighting signature, including a custom daytime running light that Hyundai claims resembles the facemask and eye shape of the Iron Man suit. The exterior shade is a special matt grey with Iron Man inspired red accents.

Then, there is an Iron Man mask motif on the roof, a new V-shaped hood garnish, front-fender Iron Man mask badging, ‘Stark Industries’ lower fascia and rear door decals, Iron Man-engraved headlamp internal surfaces, custom 18-inch alloy wheels with Iron Man mask center caps, Iron Man engraving on the D-pillars, and a dark chrome front grille. 

Inside, the Tony Stark theme continues on the instrument panel alongside a unique Iron Man shift lever knob, a special Head’s Up Display center stack featuring Iron Man graphics, and a custom seat design. No mechanical changes have been made of this special edition Kona.
